Wealth without work,
Pleasure without conscience,
Knowledge without character,
Commerce without morality,
Science without humanity,
Worship without sacrifice,
Politics without principles.

True..
as i end this "oh-so-productive" day of endless eating and watching t.v.(well, DVD actually.so..yeah) I'd like to sum it up with a realization.
Iam proud to say that i overcame my anxiety of college acceptance..well, not entirely but I'm half-way through!
i have realized that it does not matter which college i get in to or who i hang out with because in the end..it will just always be about me! and i don't mean this in a self-fish way. look at this, even if i go to the most prestigious school, it'll just help me get into work fast, high salary and all the other monetary privileges in the world but not necessarily happiness. and I'd be lying if i say that it would not make me happy, it surely would..but not for the rest of eternity..just for a second.
and so i conclude this...that self-growth is important as well as acceptance.
hmm.the idea is kinda abstract right now but I'm sure I'd be able to set things clearly about this topic someday....tomorrow?perhaps?! (laughs)
and so, till my mind is in the right state. adios!
and by the way. the title is from a guy(or girl, not really sure. named goethe):D
Most of the time we worry about nothing. I'm glad you are at the right state.
ReplyDeletethanks.:d.
ReplyDeleteI think you are a smart young guy. Money can't buy happiness, it's really true. Money just makes getting things easier, but life isn't about things, it's about love and people.
ReplyDeletethanks deborah.:d. i agree.:d. thanks for the comment.:D
